Tempeh Wrap 🌯


INGREDIENTS (makes 2 wraps)
1 pack tempeh
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp tahini
2 tbsp soy
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Ginger powder, garlic powder, paprika
water to thin

1/2 cup plant based yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
A handle of chives
A pinch of garlic power, salt and pepper
1 tsp tahini

2 tortilla wraps
lettuce (I used lamb’s lettuce)
1/4 of an avocado
1 carrot, julienned
Onion/ pickled onion
a pinch of nutritional yeast

Cut the tempeh in strips then make the marinade: mix soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, tahini, mustard and the spices in a big container or shake to combine. Add the tempeh and let marinade at least 20/30 minutes (or overnight) Make the yogurt sauce by combining yogurt, lemon juice, chives, seasoning.
Heat up the wraps in the microwave on on a pan, then place them on a plate, add lettuce, carrots, avocado, pickled onions, tempeh, the yoghurt sauce and some nutritional yeast. Roll it into a wrap and enjoy!!
